With the annual passing of the April 15th tax deadline, business owners commonly fall into a few categories:
Returns are filed, balance paid, quarterly estimated payments are planned, nothing tax related to deal with until later in the year;
Taxes are on extension with plans are in place to get everything finished in advance of the extended filing deadline;
Tax extension is filed, we have time to figure it;
Tax deadline, must have missed the memo.
If tax filing season causes you to stress about your accounting records, it is probably time for a change. While no one enjoys making high tax payments, having reliable books and records should not contribute to your concern. Many of our clients work with a separate tax preparer and rely on Gregor Accounting to maintain their books and records.
How we can help in each of the above situations:
If you are prepared and timely but are looking for a reliable third party to take over your bookkeeping and accounting and coordinate with your tax preparer on your behalf, contact us today.
If you are on extension and need some help putting the final touches on your financial records for the prior year and moving forward, contact us today.
If you are trying to figure out where your revenue and expense documentation is for prior year and want to have a structured process for the future, contact us today.
If accounting, bookkeeping and tax really are not your thing and you are going to lose sleep even once in the coming months, let us design a plan to simplify your processes, regularly maintain your records, and turn you into scenario number 1 for next tax season.
At Gregor Accounting, we utilize experienced, local resources to provide basic bookkeeping through advanced accounting support for small and mid-sized businesses. If you've considered engaging an accountant but have been reluctant to make the call, there is no time like the present. I will be happy to talk through your situation and design a customized plan for your business and a price that will fit with your budget.
